Un viaggio tra le bellezze storiche di Copenhagen. E' il programma studiato per i senatori Jci che parteciperanno al Congresso mondiale in calendario dal 3 al 7 novembre

Enjoy the JCI Senate Hospitality Program before the JCI World Congress

JCI Senators attending the 2003 JCI World Congress in Copenhagen on November 3-7 have the opportunity to take a historical trip around beautiful Denmark, which will be dressed in autumn colors. The JCI Senate Hospitality Program, organized by the Danish Senate, begins before the Opening Ceremony and continues through the week. The program includes transportation, hotels, food, entrance fees and guides.

Friday, October 31:
JCI Senators will leave Copenhagen, cross Zealand and enjoy the trip across Storebælt on the World’s second largest suspension bridge. Before visiting the Hans Christian Andersen Museum, lunch will be served in a cozy little house in the forest outside Odense. From there, a trip through the picturesque Funen will lead to a ferry ride to the island of Als, where they will spend the night.

Saturday, November 1:
This day will begin with a tour to Danfoss, one of the largest companies in Denmark. In the afternoon, the tour will continue through Southern Jutland and will make a stop in Kolding to visit the beautifully renovated Koldinghus. Next stop will be Aarhus, where Senators and Junior Chamber friends will be eager to invite you for home hospitality with an overnight stay.

Sunday, November 2:
The Old Town in Aarhus is a National Open Air Museum of Urban History and Culture, where guides will speak about the old days. Senators will continue with the ferry to Zealand and rush to the town of Roskilde to enjoy the Cathedral where Danish Kings and Queens have their chapel. Finally they will be transported back to their hotel in Copenhagen with plenty of time to relax before the World Congress begins on Monday.

Monday, November 3:
As an alternative to the JCI World Congress Opening Ceremony, Senators may opt to visit a Danish home and taste authentic Danish food during an evening excursion.

Tuesday, November 4:
A day full of options: you may choose to enjoy the challenging greens at The Queens Summer Residence if you opt for a day of golf in beautiful North Zealand, or visit the Museum Erotica followed by a guided tour through the many spas in the City of Health. Don’t miss the opportunity for a delightful massage. Conclude the relaxing day with the JCI Senators Gala Dinner at the Count Moltkes Palace, built in 1702.

Wednesday, November 5:
An all-day guided tour of Sweden, including a visit to the beautiful town of Malmöe, with Swedish JCI Senators as your hosts will take you across the new bridge connecting Denmark and Sweden.

Thursday, November 6:
See where the 179 Members of the Danish Parliament work during a guided tour in a building filled with history and atmosphere. In addition, an all day excursion to the Royal Theater begins with a guided tour in the morning followed by a magnificent performance in the evening.

Friday, November 7:

Enjoy a guided tour of the Carlsberg Breweries and sample the famous Danish brew. Then spend the afternoon exploring the Free City of Christiania, a Copenhagen's neighborhood known for its liberal lifestyle.

Saturday, November 8:
Enjoy a champagne brunch with fellow JCI Senators to finish a wonderful World Congress. Can you imagine a better way to bestow your farewell kiss to Copenhagen?
